Sweet and Healthy Date Dark Chocolate Chip or Carob Cookie

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cups Sweet And Healthy Decadent Dough Mix
  • ¾  Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¾ Teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • ¾ Cup Pitted Dates Plus A Few Extra For Topping.
  • ¾ Cup Of Date, Coconut or Maple Sugar or Natural Sweetener from SweetAndHealthyBlends.com
  • 1 Cup Dark Chocolate Or Carob Chips

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons  Vanilla Almond Milk, Buttermilk Or Whole Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ Cup Melted Coconut Oil Or Softened Butter

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, blend dry ingredients well to get the dates blended in . Add wet ingredients and pulse dry and wet ingredients.
  • Fold in 1 cup of chocolate or carob chips.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. After 10 minutes preheat oven to 340℉
  • Remove the dough from the refrigerator, form it into desired cookie size and place on parchment paper or greased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly.
  • Slice pitted dates lengthwise and place onto top of cookie, pressing the date into the cookie.
  • Bake at 340℉ for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown. Adjust minutes based on size of cookie
  • Cool for 5-10 Minutes then transfer to wire cooling rack.

Air Fryer

  • Bake at 325℉ for 5 minutes or until golden, let cool for 5 minutes and transfer to wire cooling rack.
